Mortgage Sales & Operations Trainer - Remote

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of training on various company procedures, products and platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Develop and maintain blended curriculum and supporting documentation for both instructor-led and eLearning formats contacting Subject Matter Experts (SME) for material and interpreting the information into a manner in which the end user can understand.
• Lead development of document structures and prepare a variety of documents with minor guidance, brainstorm issues with internal clients, go beyond scope when necessary and appropriate, draw out emerging insights, make strong impression in all oral communications, remain confident and in control, even with difficult audiences.
• Delivery of training.
• On-boarding of new employees as well as continuing education for current employees.
• Conducting training via face-to-face, webinars and phone conferences.
• Consult with internal clients to understand training requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Some local and limited national travel required.
• Presentation Skills, Written Communication, Microsoft Office Skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 4 or more years' experience developing and delivering technical training.
• 2 or more years' mortgage experience in at least one of the following areas is preferred: Mortgage Training, Loan Origination, Processing, Underwriting, or Closing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Well-developed writing skills - grammar skills as well as interpretive skills (e.g., explaining computer technology to an end user in easy terms).
• Public speaking skills - must not be shy and unwilling to be in front of an audience.
• Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
• Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
• SharePoint Training.
• CRM Training.
• Previous experience with utilizing screen recording software such as Camtasia or Captivate or iSpring.
• Familiar with virtual training/presentation-platforms such as Go to Meeting, Lync or Webex.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Standard office environment, equipment and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employee must be open to work overtime to complete assigned tasks.
