Description:
Johnson Block and Company, Inc. is seeking experienced team members who pride themselves on quality work. This position, seasonal full-time or part-time, begins in January through April 15th and can continue for successive tax seasons.
Major Responsibilities Include:
?? Prepare individual and business (including 1120, 1120S and 1065) income tax returns.
?? Review income tax returns prepared by staff.
?? Conduct tax research.
?? Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
. Requirements:
Education / Experience:
?? Current CPA Certification is a plus.
?? 4+ years of tax and accounting experience.
?? Experience with trust and estate tax preparation a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities:
?? Excellent team skills, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
?? Excellent communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
?? Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
?? Commitment to quality and the timely completion of work.
?? Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and various tax and accounting software including CCH products, Creative Solutions products, and research tools.
