Premium Auditor - Remote Itasca, IL

CPAudits is seeking experienced premium auditors to join their rapidly growing premium audit team. CPAudits is in a unique position to provide enhanced services for clients in the insurance industry. Our growing audit staff primarily performs 'virtual' premium audits for client workers compensation and commercial general liability accounts. Our company headquarters is located in the Chicago suburbs. However, qualified auditors living outside the Itasca, IL area are encouraged to apply to work remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research specific business activities, background, and ownership for the purpose of classifying and completing 'virtual' audits.
• Determine audit exposures upon reviewing financial documents, follow client audit guidelines / instructions, and applying state specific standards.
• Professionally communicate audit documentation requests and audit results (both orally and in written form) to interested parties.
• Complete assigned work within established company standards for quality and production
• Provide audit dispute resolution assistance
• Other duties as assigned or as situations dictate

Desired Skills :

• Competent knowledge of Workers Compensation and General Liability coverages and audit procedures.
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of NCCI Workers Compensation and ISO General Liability rules, manuals and practices
• Superior analytical skills
• Capable of independent research and analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of premium audit experience.
• College degree preferred, but not required
