Job Description

Lead the execution of cross-organizational business projects. Project examples include supervision of ongoing department on-boarding and off-boarding, field event and coaching project management, employee engagement related initiatives, and annual finance and budget planning. Project delivery will involve working with key sponsors to obtain agreement of project objectives, review of deliverables, regular communication and reporting updates, as well as the management of project finances.

Responsibilities

??? Responsible for the delivery of moderate complexity business projects in support of the overall department's goals of employee engagement, advisor business development & growth, advice, and learning & development.
??? Accountable for business project communications, contingency planning, escalation of critical issues to project sponsor/owner, implementation communications, etc.
??? Define the overall objectives and key deliverables for the business project; identifies and tracks key measures of success. Provide regular status reporting on plan progress, as defined by company standards. Some of these activities may be performed under general guidance/direction.
??? Provide leadership to business project resources in a manner that ensures timely delivery on commitments/tasks in support of broader business project deliverables. Align resources (may be cross-organizationally) to ensure successful delivery of the project. Identify project resource requirements and works with project plan sponsors to ensure adequately skilled resources are available to deliver on project commitments.
??? Work effectively with business partners, vendors, technology and project management staff to develop the project agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of project objectives/deliverables by affected constituencies. Provide proactive project communication to project owner. Works to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensures appropriate integration to project plan.

Required Qualifications

??? Bachelors degree or equivalent.
??? 5+ years of relevant experience.
??? Experienced at building relationships, with solid communication skills (both written and spoken).
??? Ability to work as a leader within teams to motivate and collaboratively influence others
??? Must be a self-starter, solution-focused and have ability to work independently
??? Proven ability to prioritize, coupled with strong attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment
??? Robust knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
??? Demonstrated experience and in leading small- to medium-scale projects to successful completion and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

??? Financial services experience.
??? Experience managing project financials in partnership with finance team
??? Demonstrated SalesForce capability.
