A Functional Engineer leads the capability delivery and support for applications in the Digital Research & Development area. The role performs leading-edge work and develops innovative approaches/solutions and is viewed as a subject matter expert in business process understanding and technical expertise. Acts as the primary point of contact for stakeholders in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

?? Coordination of new and existing capability development to keep the Digital Product Development application portfolio healthy and relevant for Kimberly-Clark.

?? Partnering with global and regional business and IT stakeholders to prioritize demand

?? Proactive identification of opportunities and innovative approaches to digitally-enable or accelerate digital impact in product development.

?? Applying agile/scrum practices in the oversight of support and delivery of features and capabilities in partnership with various teams within IT.

?? Maintain an in-depth understanding of the application of digital capabilities in product development for K-C and the industry.

?? Partnering with procurement for vendor relationship management and contracts related to digital product development capabilities

Travel may include up to 10% when Covid19 restrictions are lifted

Key Qualifications and Experiences:

?? Bachelor's degree; Professional experience with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients and IT stakeholders.

?? Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.

?? Proven experience in requirements gathering, test case development, orchestration of user acceptance testing, and application support.

?? Proven experience working on different technology platforms and applications (custom-developed and commercial off the shelf).

?? Ability to learn quickly, assess, and understand the potential of new digital capabilities in product development.

?? Proven experience working and communicating with different levels of experts from scientists to support teams.

?? Ability to work in and with virtual teams dispersed globally across time zones and cultures.

?? Demonstrated working knowledge of agile/scrum principles and ceremonies. Including the ability to lead agile practices within product teams and projects.
