Summary

Responsible for program success. Is the primary interface with customers and internal management. Integrates and aligns the technical, operations, business, and contract teams for all Stratospheric Balloon and Radar products and related flight/field services.

Essential Functions

Coordinate with other PM II's to provide forecasting and scheduling of customer deliveries, customer installations, customer campaigns, IRAD and Demo flights to the operations group.

Provide monthly invoicing for all product deliveries and coordinate with Accounting to ensure that revenue is recognized as forecasted.

Provide analysis of schedule and production changes to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and coordinated and status is clearly communicated.

Coordinate and ensure that the materials supply chain is adequate to meet delivery schedules. Work closely with operations to coordinate procurement of long-lead time items.

Coordinate with Engineering to understand the impact of all design changes to production. Develop new supply sources and work with purchasing to utilize most cost-effective suppliers.

Support Bid and Proposal activity and catalog pricing to ensure accurate costs and delivery schedules are proposed.

Participate in sub-system Build or Buy decisions and provide analysis impacts as appropriate.

Analyze strategies for cost effectiveness and schedule savings.

Responsible for adherence to contracts, meeting the requirements, and flowing down specific requirements to subcontractors/suppliers.

Utilize Production & Operations tools to check inventory levels, lead-times, etc.

Act as customer interface for named Program.

Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.

Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.

Prepares proposals to win new programs.

Demonstrates the Dimensions of Competition and Raven Team Member Values in their daily actions and encourages their teams to do the same.

May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.

Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with program management and service is preferred.

Experience with Aerospace & Defense programs.

Proficient with a computer, including Microsoft Office programs.

Strong administrative skills. Must be very detail oriented.

Exceptional oral and written communications.

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.

Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions.

Capacity to be flexible and multitask.

High level of patience and service.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

Ability to travel.

Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required.
