**IT Service Desk Lead - Little Canada, MN**


**Contract to Hire with Benefits - Onsite**


**Job Overview:**


We are seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Lead to join our growing team. In this position, you will be


responsible for overseeing the activities of all help desk members to ensure that they deliver excellent


customer support. You should have an aptitude for thinking outside the box and enjoy critical thinking,


organization, and overall team management.


**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**


+ Coordinate the service desk team members in their daily duties.


+ Evaluate and assess service delivery performance metrics.


+ Keep record of daily operations at the desk for tracking of customer needs, services rendered and future reference and present to management upon request.


+ Escalation points for Service Desk members.


+ Escalation management between Service Desk and other IT departments.


+ Maintain local IT office with ordering and maintaining inventory.


+ Setting local Service Desk member schedules (when needed).


+ Provide feedback and reviews for each Service Desk member to management.


+ Work as a resource on IT projects that involve the Service Desk.


**Requirements / Basic Qualifications:**


+ High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.


+ Computer proficiency in programs such as SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite.


+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.


+ Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.


+ Ability to work under pressure.


+ Knowledgeable about service desk system and IT tools.


+ Good judgment in handling serious customer problems.


+ Business strategy aptitude.


+ Decision-making and leadership skills.
