The Marketing Manager, Labs is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Labs Business Division at NSF. This position is a strategic partner to the division and a key collaborator with the Sales team. The Marketing Manager, Labs will drive best practices in terms of marketing campaigns, programs and activities. By leveraging the latest marketing technology and tools to develop greater business value to the Labs Division. The Marketing Manager, Labs will also be the source for communicating market intelligence and market trends affecting the Labs Division. The Marketing Manager, Labs will also be responsible for the development, communication and dissemination of marketing performance. They will maintain and articulate that performance through dashboards, quarterly report out and regular communications to the Lab Divisional leadership.

Key Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Work closely with Division and Sales teams in target geographies establishing marketing deliverables relevant to the customer base -Food, Environmental, Pharma, Consumer Goods and Industrial segments
  • Create, execute, and optimize lab marketing campaigns, programs and activities with a focus on demand generation, market segmentation and value proposition
  • Coordinate with a broader Marketing organization to ensure content is generated that is suitable for both the customer needs and the NSF enterprise overall
  • Work closely with customers, understanding their needs, and enabling content to integrate into customer-facing presentations, websites, and case studies. Ensuring the voice of the customer is present and integrated at NSF
  • Assist with generating Customer Value Propositions and articulating value created with the customer
  • Work with a global cross-functional marketing team across the enterprise, ensuring opportunities to maximize marketing efforts and cross sell to potential customers is explored
  • Established ability to generate marketing content and deliverables to enable Business Development and Sales teams
  • Leverage modern marketing technology capabilities and Lead Management fundamentals to drive pipeline and sales opportunities.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in life sciences, marketing, business development and/or engineering
  • Master's degree in life sciences or Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited college/university is a plus
  • Marketing Experience in Life Sciences, Med Tech or Lab Services Industries, required
  • CRM Marketing Automation Experience, required
  • Specific experience with Pardot and/or salesforce
  • Strong Digital Marketing tool experience
  • Heavy on analytical skills
  • Ability to measure to effectively report as it relates to business impact
  • Ability to identify, execute and engage trade shows to drive leads, industry and brand awareness
  • Experience with analytical equipment and laboratory processes a plus
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage and develop communication and PR strategies
