Outreach Educator/CapTel part time

Outreach Educators work independently to bring captioning to people with hearing loss. Networking is key. We work locally to get the word out that there is a captioning solution for everyone who struggles to hear over the phone. We attend trade shows and conferences to raise awareness of captioning solutions.

Other responsibilities include:

  • In-home installation of CapTel equipment
  • On-site education & training about CapTel products
  • Giving presentations & seminars about Captioned Telephones
  • Working with individuals & organizations to determine the best captioning options for each situation
  • Caring about our clients and helping them connect with their community and loved ones
Compensation includes an hourly wage of $20ph and travel reimbursement.
