This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. This is a telecommute / work at home role.

Our Care Navigation Auditor has the responsibility of ensuring our Care Navigator team performs outreach consistent with model guidelines and policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Completes call/chart quality audits for Care Navigator team
  • Analyzes results to determine process improvement opportunities
  • Consistently completes audits per quantity/frequency guidelines
  • Provides feedback/coaching regarding process improvement as needed in either individual/group meetings
  • Collaborates with leadership team
  • Constantly maintains schedule adherence and good attendance
  • Maintains confidential health information according to state and federal regulations including HIPAA

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years experience as an Optum At Home Care Navigator
  • Experience using Microsoft Word (edit, create & save documents), Microsoft Excel (sorting & filtering data), and Microsoft Outlook (email, folders, attachments and calendaring)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare / managed care environment
  • Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Previous experience completing audits or supporting quality program

Soft Skills:

  • History of consistently meeting/exceeding quality metric expectations
  • Must be able and comfortable with maintaining metrics and goals within the department
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $20.77 to $36.88.
