Rockland Flooring, a manufacturer of laminated hardwood floors for the transportation industry has an immediate opening for a full time Senior Staff Accountant.
General Purpose of the Position:
Duties include accounting management over five manufacturing locations and supporting the Controller and CFO in other projects as assigned.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Payroll reporting and reconciliations
* Inventory costing and reconciliation
* Maintain fixed asset and associated depreciation schedules
* Support year-end close and audit fieldwork
* A/R & Sales review
* G/L account reconciliations
Required:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or Bachelor's degree in business with emphasis in accounting
Skills and Abilities:
* 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience preferred
* Inventory Cost Accounting experience preferred
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills with high attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork
* Great Plains software experience preferred
