The Senior Security Compliance Professional, a critical member of the Honeywell ACST's Security Compliance Team, ensures compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), specialized Special Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) government programs, and interfaces with Honeywell and government representatives to clarify and interpret requirements and resolve issues. The Senior Security Compliance Professional is responsible for developing and customizing security plans for specific programs, establishing security procedures to address the unique needs of our programs, coordinating the use of resources, and providing guidance to all levels of employees regarding the safeguarding of classified information by developing and maintaining procedures that will ensure classified information is treated appropriately. This is a detailed task position and the professional must be able to operate independently and accurately with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified, or sensitive materials, documents, and equipment
  • Investigates security violations and prepares reports
  • Identify opportunities to improve security operations efficiency
  • Develop procedures by which security plans can be efficiently created for new customers, programs, and personnel.
  • Establish systematic methods of coordinating security processes and sharing security information among various locations.
  • Coordinate personnel security clearance requirements with various government entities.
  • Conduct required security education for employees, to include initial security briefings and annual refresher training.
  • Process and maintain classified document accountability records and provide security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's and security guidance.
  • Coordinate shipping and packaging of classified material.
  • Manage multiple SCIFs and ensure adherence to ICD 705 standards.
  • Submit required reports to Honeywell management and the government.
  • Provide feedback to various HGS Compliance Standardization Teams.
  • Assist with physical security and information security requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Currently hold at a minimum, an active Top-Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain a TS//SCI security clearance. (With limited exceptions)
  • 5 + years experience in security role such as an CPSO/CSSO/SSO for SCI or SAP programs, with in-depth knowledge of the DOD or other government security regulatory manual.
  • Minimum Completion of a Government Industrial Security Course (Special Security Officer (SSO) or Facility Security Officer (FSO).

WE VALUE

  • Active/current TS/SCI with polygraph (CI, FSP)
  • Proficient level of understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), CFR , the NISPOM Overprint, and DoD SAP Manuals & ICD series manuals.
  • Proficient with the use of DISS, NISS, JADE and e-Mass
  • Experience in industrial Security and Insider Threat Programs
  • Industrial Security Professional Certifications (SFPC, ISP, CISSP)
  • SME creating industrial security policies and procedures
  • Exhibit superior organizational/task prioritization skills
  • COMSEC experience
