Kemps LLC is a subsidiary of Dairy Farmers of America(DFA).
Monday-Friday, start time flexible between 7am - 8am
Minimum Starting Wage $25/hour
Includes: Paid Time off (Vacation Sick), 401(k), and benefit insurance package
Calculates, processes, and analyses production data through multiple stages of production, including raw milk, raw product and finished product processing to account for costs associated with Kemps Manufacturing. Interacts with production management and accounting staff to resolve discrepancies related to production process accounting. Prepares reports for accounting and production personnel.

Calculates, processes, and analyses production data through multiple stages of production, including raw milk, raw product and finished product processing to account for costs associated with Kemps Manufacturing. Interacts with production management and accounting staff to resolve discrepancies related to production process accounting. Prepares reports for accounting and production personnel.
- Calculates and processes milk accumulation, utilization (11 million lbs. Per month) and sales accumulation information, then analyses data for variances to account for fluid loss of raw milk and to ensure supplier payments are made in a timely and accurate manner.
- Inputs finished production data and reviews finished production report to compare with mix reports so variances between product made and product packaged (i.e. filling loss) can be identified and rectified.
- Maintains book inventories of finished product to account for cooler loss on a weekly basis. Reconciles book inventory with physical inventory on a period basis for over 250 different product lines.
- Interacts with production management to resolve discrepancies related to fluid loss, filling loss, and/or cooler loss and inputs corrected data to a computer in order to maintain accurate production accounting records.
- Prepares various PMD production activity reports (e.g. hours worked, pounds produced, mix, cost, etc.) to accurately document production operation costs.
- Creates and maintains reports on a PC for a variety of production and accounting reports (i.e. machine efficiency by shift; mix accountability recap report) in order to provide production or accounting data to management personnel.
- Provides back-up for plant purchasing, billings and invoice processing activities.
- Keeps supervisor informed of matters that may require his/her attention.
- Performs other duties as apparent or assigned.
Requirements
- Associates Degree, preferably with an emphasis in Business or Accounting
- 2-3 years job related work experience.
