Position Summary: Under the direction of the Managing Director of Mineral and Land Services, the MLS Land Managers (Land Manager) responsibilities will include negotiating and drafting of oil and gas related contracts and agreements, title work, and business development of the MLS Department, including its Reserves Based Lending Program and MineralTracker.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

* Working closely with the Director for MLS on business development, including implementing and advance current service offerings, and proposing, implementing and market new services within MLS, Wealth Management or the Bank.
* Independently research, interpret, evaluate, verify, and negotiate simple to highly complex oil and gas related documents and agreements, and other non-oil and gas related documents, including, but not limited to, financial documents and software related documents. Ensure timely compliance with all contract obligations.
* Independently review, evaluate, and recommend solutions to title issues.
* Stay current and knowledgeable on oil and gas news and developments to provide advice and guidance to the Banks clients and employees.
* Assist in educating MLS team members, and Bank employees, of oil and gas rights and services provided by MLS.
* Serve as point of contact for current and prospective clients as directed.
* Attend periodic training to receive information about various bank services and participate in an exchange of ideas and problems.
* Responsible for confidentiality, including protection of sensitive information and its integrity in compliance with First International Bank & Trust information security and departmental policies, standards and procedures. Responsible for reporting events including suspicious activity as well as cooperating with all investigations.
* Assists with various projects and assignments as needed.
* Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and regulations.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* College Degree or CPL required. J.D. preferred.
* 8+ years of oil and gas experience with an emphasis on complex contract work (surface and subsurface), acquisitions and divestment, title work, and general landman work.
* Financial and/or Banking experience preferred.
* Williston Basin oil and gas experience required, and Rocky Mountain oil and gas experience preferred.
* Detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
* Strong ability to work as a part of a team.
* This role does potentially require a substantial amount of travel.
