Position Summary:
The Client Transition Supervisor is responsible for supervising and developing staff to ensure new business and terminating business processes are properly implemented for multiple product lines including payroll and retirement. Participate in project meetings and build applicable processes and procedures. Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.

Essential Responsibilities
Job Function 1: Team and Process - 60%
  • Supervise transition team for multiple product lines including retirement and payroll.
  • Ensure efficient operation of specific processes, adhere to SLA's and foster a continuous improvement environment.
  • Handle escalated issues, provide risk oversight and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and resources to assist team members in resolving routine and complex issues with the client at the center of the solution.
  • Develop and/or improve process when onboarding client with multiple product lines

Job Function 2: Projects and Enhancements - 30%
  • Participate on project teams as required and represent area(s) programming requirements, process changes, and testing needs.
  • Assist with other projects, activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
  • Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with internal business lines and external clients and/or vendors.
  • Recommend changes to standardize processes and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and effective client delivery.

Job Function 3: Employee Leadership - 10%
  • Hire and ensure training for new employees; provide ongoing coaching/feedback, recognition, development and performance management.
  • Proactively engage team members to ensure efficient processes and continued team member development.
  • Develop coaching plans that incorporate metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Create an environment where team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Work with team members, management and other business areas to coordinate efforts and ensure effective collaboration in order to meet client needs and maintain bank and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate effective problem solving, decision making, coaching and communication skills, setting a positive example for team members.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven leadership, management and direct supervisory skills.
  • 5 years of extensive implementation experience in payroll and/or retirement.
  • Exceptional problem solving orientation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to facilitate communication between various departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple assignments.
  • Able to make proper business decisions based on experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and able to perform complicated tasks.

Physical Demands - Must be met with or without a reasonable accommodation:
  • Extended periods of time sitting at a desk and using office equipment.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer/laptop for approximately 8 hours per day.
  • Extended time is spent reviewing physical and electronic documents.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Periodically, may also do light lifting of supplies and materials which weighs approximately 20 lbs.
  • Will spend most of time in an indoor environment.
