Job Summary:

The communications specialist will work with a smaller marketing team and will lead the execution on the fire service part of our business to develop all marketing communications. You will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on our company and customers with strong messaging and innovative communications tactics. The fire service is full of passion, and we are looking for an individual looking to truly make a difference within the industry. You will serve as the key contact to several departments at MacQueen to assist in both ongoing campaigns and one-time projects. This role is a fantastic opportunity to wear many hats and also get the opportunity to grow your skillset and gain valuable experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute digital campaigns that promote our products and services using email marketing, digital ads, social media and retargeting strategies
  • Grow our social media presence across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instrgram and LinkedIn
  • Write engaging content that's both educational and entertaining for the company's website and blog
  • Create company flyers, presentations and other necessary branding materials
  • Execute product launch and promotional campaigns and track effectiveness with results metrics
  • Utilize Hubspot Automation strategies to target customers during crucial parts of their customer lifecycle
. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a marketing communications role
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite products (Required)
  • Knowledge of graphic design and ability to create marketing collateral
  • Proven track record generating leads with a multi-channel marketing communications approach
  • Experience with Hubspot CMS and automation platforms (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in the fire service industry (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to work independently and generate new ideas for the company and department
  • Interest in a growing organization with opportunity to grow and evolve within the company
