Overview:
The Purchasing Software Educator-Support Specialist, will provide initial and ongoing education to new and current users of the associated purchasing software. Additionally, the Purchasing Software Educator-Support Specialist will provide support for passwords and item listings, they will also liaise with the IT department when software issue occur.
This is a full time position and will work: Monday-Friday in Manitowoc, WI

Essential Functions
- Provide initial education when new sites are affiliated
- Provide ongoing education for new users
- Provide education for special requestsProvide education for any software changes and/or/upgrades
- Creates new accounts and/or users
- Resets passwords as needed
- Assists in trouble shooting any Purchase Order issues
- Supports any growth or strategy related to migration to an alternate purchasing software
- Other related duties as assigned.
Education
- High School diploma, GED/HSED, or equivalent is required.
- Associates Degree in related field is preferred.
- College experience/credits in accounting/business
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 1-2 years of recent office experience with customer service, purchasing, clerical work or in a similar capacity is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs and adaptable to learn basic floor plan design and other software as needed.
- Proficient in use of Excel.
- Adaptable to a variety of job demands.
- Must possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others in person and over the phone.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others with regard to professional behavior, handling multiple tasks, maintaining a positive attitude, and in response to organizational change.
- Ability to use time productively and contributes to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.Ability to respond positively to constructive criticism and direction from supervisors.
