Overview:

The Purchasing Software Educator-Support Specialist, will provide initial and ongoing education to new and current users of the associated purchasing software. Additionally, the Purchasing Software Educator-Support Specialist will provide support for passwords and item listings, they will also liaise with the IT department when software issue occur.

This is a full time position and will work: Monday-Friday in Manitowoc, WI

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

  • Provide initial education when new sites are affiliated
  • Provide ongoing education for new users
  • Provide education for special requestsProvide education for any software changes and/or/upgrades
  • Creates new accounts and/or users
  • Resets passwords as needed
  • Assists in trouble shooting any Purchase Order issues
  • Supports any growth or strategy related to migration to an alternate purchasing software
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education

  • High School diploma, GED/HSED, or equivalent is required.
  • Associates Degree in related field is preferred.
  • College experience/credits in accounting/business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 1-2 years of recent office experience with customer service, purchasing, clerical work or in a similar capacity is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs and adaptable to learn basic floor plan design and other software as needed.
  • Proficient in use of Excel.
  • Adaptable to a variety of job demands.
  • Must possess excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others with regard to professional behavior, handling multiple tasks, maintaining a positive attitude, and in response to organizational change.
  • Ability to use time productively and contributes to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.Ability to respond positively to constructive criticism and direction from supervisors.
  • Must demonstrate professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Must display a friendly, cheerful, tactful, and polite demeanor, and must be compassionate and caring in dealing with others.Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
