This full-time, permanent Electrical Automation Engineer career opportunity is at a diverse, custom manufacturing company. The work is stable as the industry is stable but growing. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will encompass the following:
* Creating 3D AutoCAD electrical designs
* Laying out electrical panels, enclosures and networks
* Programming HMI and PLC machine controls
* Programming servo systems, vision, motion controllers, robotics and so on
* Creating safety circuit designs
* Preparing electrical equipment and specifications
* Participating in start-ups and support
* Creating and documenting bills of material
* Ordering parts as needed
* Ensuring that vendors are meeting design and time requirements
Candidates should have a minimum background consisting of the following:
* An electrical engineering degree
* One or more years of industrial automation experience
* Possess strong knowledge of industrial electric schematics and controls circuitry
* Possess strong knowledge of analog components, digital components, electrical switches, electrical relays, pressure sensors and temperature sensors
* Possess the ability to travel up to 20% for startups
* Possess a solid work history
* Being a US citizen or green card holder
* Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
