HOW YOU WILL DO IT

Purpose Statement: The Manager of the Global Learning and Development Team will lead the execution of our global learning and development strategy including the leadership development programs, materials library, courses and assessments. They will also be responsible for guiding and coaching the L&D team to collaborate with the business to achieve accelerated talent development outcomes.

Key Job Accountabilities:

* Provide leadership, direct and indirect, to the global leadership development team, ensuring the team is aligning on best practices and executing the learning and development strategy to achieve accelerated talent development.
* Manage the leadership development library by approving resources for content, assessments, and stretch assignments. Execute continuous improvement and maintenance of the library of course materials and ensure materials are relevant and accessible to all stakeholders.
* Prepare needs assessments, project planning, and change management for new training or leadership development programs.
* Develop and execute an onboarding strategy for new employees that supports their growth and development from date of hire.
* Measure learning program effectiveness and apply a consistent strategy for measurement across the global organizations learning programs.
* Accountable to execute on Plexus' Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

Additional Accountabilities:

* Partner with HR systems teams (HRIS and LMS) on system maintenance and improvements to support the L&D strategy.
* Drive continuous improvement based up on metrics of learning programs.
* Align learning programs with achievable business outcomes, namely accelerating talent development.
* Ensure training programs and content are high quality, relevant to the business, and globally applicable.
* Seek alignment, where appropriate, on global learning strategies.
* Networks and builds relationships with internal Plexus stakeholders across the globe, as well as external peers and industry experts for benchmarking and networking purposes.
* Ensures systems are in place within the organization to effectively manage programs, including technical systems, processes and systems of management.
* Occasional travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 20%).
* Additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Education or other relevant field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
* Five (5) years of related experience is required; 3 years of related industry experience is preferred.
* ATD (Association for Talent Development) or SHRM certification is preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

* Ability to influence business leaders to adopt learning programs, measurement strategies, and apply them consistently to appropriate team members.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Advanced training facilitation, preparation, and development skills.
* Excellent change management skills.
* Advanced ability to plan, organize, and drive projects to completion.
* Strong organizational savvy.
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* General office equipment and materials.

Work Environment:

* The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
