Computype provides smart solutions in automatic asset identification, customized labeling and tracking. This position is in our main office in Roseville, MN.

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. Pay is commensurate with experience, $18.50-19.50/hour.

Key goals in this position focus on accuracy, volume and timely order entry while effectively communicating with customers regarding order placement and status.

Major responsibilities of this position include:

  • Processing a high volume of customer purchase orders for custom products and services.
    1. Orders that include details such as specific numbering and text entry
    2. Customer portal maintenance
    3. Stock pull orders
  • Perform as help desk by providing information regarding current pricing, reordering and product details
  • Manage min/max inventory levels for stock programs
  • Maintain accurate filing, prep and coordinate offsite storage of paperwork
  • Back-up reception coverage
  • Prepare department metrics
  • Maintain/Track service contract renewals
  • Maintain department procedures on SharePoint
  • Perform other duties as apparent or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities of this position include:

  • Specialized training and experience beyond high school in customer service
  • Three years of order entry experience
  • Strong attention to accuracy and details
  • Intermediate skills in Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience in Salesforce, SharePoint and Epicor a plus
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, in office and offsite
  • Work primary hours, M - F, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with flexibility to work overtime when needed
  • Second language, Spanish, French or German, preferred but not mandatory
