Facilitates, implements, and administers various HR functions for Lake Region Healthcare which includes:
* Enters new hires and status changes into HRIS system/s.
* Initiates and enters salary increases as required into HRIS system.
* Conducts various human resource surveys & company 1095C filings (excluding applicant & wage related surveys that involve decision making and/or narratives).
* Manages all imports, uploads, & feed files as assigned including initial set-up and software maintenance.
* Works closely with other departments, such as finance and CIS, to ensure smooth transition of data and communication of processes.
* Up-keeps tables, system set-ups, and any system updates for all HRIS software utilized in the department.
* Researches and stays informed on HRIS and software system changes and additions. Makes recommendations for new modules, reports, and other ways to make HR processes more efficient.
* Manages performance management software for human resource departmental use.
* Serves as back-up for handling all corrective notice reviews, coaching of management, and/or disciplinary decisions and actions.
* Serves as back-up for attending union meetings, handling grievances, and/or answering questions regarding union contracts among employees and management.
* Assists HR Director with higher level management needs, special projects, and initiatives at Prairie Ridge as needed and/or requested.
* Assists HR Director with policy and regulation interpretation, updates, and/or changes as needed and/or requested.

​Requirements
To perform in this position satisfactorily requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and 2+ years of human resources experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with HRIS required. Must have excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, along with ability to operate various software programs. Requires excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and telephone skills. Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
Mental Demands:  Requires ability to perform at an independent level with minimal direction; exercise good judgment and initiative; problem solves and makes decisions on a variety of situations. Ability to function effectively in stressful situations.
Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
