Sales and Marketing Data Analyst Description & Duties:

Foundation Finance is looking for a strong analyst with knowledge/experience with sales and marketing data to help drive profitable growth by leveraging data and analytics. This is a hands-on role requires technical skills to query and manipulate data to develop data-driven reports and recommendations. The analyst will have a wide range of exposure to sales and marketing, loan originations and servicing areas in consumer lending. The analyst will, on a regular basis present reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management to improve business strategies and practices.


Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the sales and marketing teams with needed data reporting and analytics, forecasting and dealer/internal monitoring needs using Salesforce, Tableau, Excel and loan software.
  • Create user-friendly reports and Tableau visualizations for staff and management. Enhance existing and build new Tableau dashboards as needed.
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of sales and marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
  • Analyzes external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL, Access), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.
  • Analyze dealer and department related KPI's and provide recommendations on opportunities to optimize and improve performance.
  • Assist other departments with reporting needs, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field; 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software such as Tableau.
