Alliance for Healing PA (AHEARTT) - St. Paul, MN -- is looking for a Mental Health Therapist /Counselor to join our team. Alliance for Healing offers treatment for those living with the challenge of trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic disorders, sexual compulsions or addiction, and intimacy disorders. We assist our clients in a safe and respectful environment to rebuild healthy relationships and restore hope and clarity in life. We have an amazing team of down-to-earth marriage and family therapists, licensed social workers, and licensed professional clinical counselors who work in a beautiful, welcoming clinic. Our therapists are grounded in effective therapy practices dealing with trauma, behavioral addictions, relational betrayal, and rebuilding resilience in mental health. We also specialize in neurofeedback to assist our clients in making changes that last.

This is a salaried position with benefits including a retirement savings plan, health/dental insurance, vacation pay, holiday pay, training/educational opportunities, and professional development allowance.

Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the state of Minnesota with at least one-year post master's degree and LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC license - supervision is available
  • Interest and experience in trauma work, relationship betrayal, attachment disorders, compulsive sexual behaviors, and resiliency skill-building
  • Willing to be trained in problematic sexual behaviors/sexual addiction
  • We are looking for competent, confident, and creative therapists who are committed to being part of a supportive team.
  • Open to work some evening hours. Schedules are flexible.
  • Licensure must be active and in good standing with the respective Licensing Board. Must adhere to licensure ethics and regulations.
  • Experience and knowledge of the most current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) categories representing the range of mental health disorders.
  • Successfully complete the requirements of a background check
  • Able to assess and treat the mental health of the clients
  • Must have the following skills: organizational, decision making, critical thinking, analytical, coaching, leadership, conflict resolution, interpersonal effectiveness, and accountability
