Position Information

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North Dakota State University invites applications for a post-doctoral position. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field. They must have a strong record of scholarship with publications, possess good interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills.

The position is initially for one year and renewable for up to 2 more years based on the candidate's performance and availability of funds. The selected candidate will work under the mentorship of Dr. Sanku Mallik on an NIH-funded R01 focusing on amphiphilic polymers for drug delivery to solid hypoxic tumors.

Preference will be given to applicants with training and research expertise in the broad areas of Organic or Polymer Chemistry with a materials characterization background. The successful candidate is expected to design and perform experiments independently and work collaboratively with other graduate students.
