$130,000 plus bonus
Summary / Objective
Thriveworks, a national mental health organization, is currently seeking a Payer Relations Strategy Expert. This role will be responsible for developing and managing contracting and relations with major payor accounts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, innovative, growing environment.
You will be presented with multiple competing tasks, and no day will be the same. You will be required to bring ideas to the table and execute successfully at a rapid pace.

Responsibilities
Build strong, collaborative relationships and agreements with payors
Research, develop, negotiate, and implement payor contracting strategies
Maximize relationships and negotiations impacting growth strategy for current and new markets
Work closely with the finance and business operations teams to assist with the evaluation and integration of new partnerships to positively impact P&L success and financial performance
Assist in the identification and sourcing of partners for value-based arrangements
Execute the implementation process of contracts
Strong focus on contracting, reporting, and operations to optimize performance
Continuously monitor and understand the competitive environment and trends that affect current and future payor contracting models and reimbursement
Helps identify and lead process improvements and development as the company continues to scale
Skills & Qualifications
Must have multi-state or multi-site healthcare payor strategy experience
High degree of professionalism and the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including clinical team members
Experience working with large sets of data, formula writing, pivot tables, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Maintains confidentiality of all patient and payor information
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Requirements
Must have CPA or at least strong business or data management background
Bachelor's degree is required
3+ years in a national payor relations role required
