Job Responsibilities:
Position Summary: This position provides pretrial case management of repeat intoxicated driving offenders for the Circuit Courts of Waukesha County.

Work Relationship and Scope: Reports directly to the Program Supervisor and Program Director. Has contact with a wide variety of individuals including criminal defendants, courthouse personnel, treatment providers, various criminal justice agencies and other WCS staff.
Personal Attributes: Follow agency Code of Conduct; adhere to established policies and procedures of the agency and of all funding sources; conduct self in an ethical manner; maintain professional and respectful relationships with program staff, other WCS staff, participants and all external persons and agencies involved with service provision; sensitivity toward cultural, ethnic and disability issues; demonstrate commitment to agency values and mission.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System; familiarity with current OWI laws; knowledge of local AODA treatment programs and assessing agencies in charge of Driver's Safety Plans; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to respond appropriately in crisis situations; sensitivity toward cultural, ethnic and disability issues; good organizational, computer and typing skills; ability to read and understand drug testing results and their implications; good judgment; effective use of time; and must be trained in all WCS required Evidenced Based Principals within 90 day of hire and follow models for fidelity established by the agency.
Working Conditions: Most of the work will be done in the office, requires occasional trips to the courthouse to drop off court letters, gather pertinent casework information and provide a presence in court on Fast Track Tuesdays; required to meet with clients at our Milwaukee office; observe and supervise clients' drug screens; clients may exhibit disruptive behavior.
Physical Demands: Duties require good hearing and the ability to communicate verbally; hand and finger dexterity for data entry and typing; involves some driving between Waukesha and Milwaukee County.
Minimal Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work or other related field; possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's License and insured auto; must pass criminal background check.
