Kitchen Manager

The Suburban is an award-winning craft sports bar specializing in scratch made burgers, flatbreads and hotdogs in the heart of Excelsior, MN, just steps from Lake Minnetonka. Since 2014, we have been serving families that want to gather, have fun, and eat delicious food in a casual environment. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to supervise daily back of house restaurant operations. Kitchen Manager responsibilities include supervising the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage our kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality food on time. This person will have a positive attitude and proactive spirit. The ideal candidate is someone who isn't afraid to provide ideas to enhance and improve both operations and the guest experience. The kitchen manager is responsible for making hiring decisions and is able to communicate with a diverse team. Success comes in the form of favorable reviews from fellow team members, peers, and guests. In this highly visible role, you will be expected to contribute to the improvement of our operations while hiring and empowering your team. $500 bonus after 60 day probationary period. $23 - $25 an hour depending on experience.
