Position Summary

Directs staff in the development of long-term Supply Chain strategies, annual business plans, prioritized initiatives, and business area scorecards. Ensures integrated technology and process roadmap is in place and focused on continuous improvement. Directs strategy development that incorporates internal business requirements, external factors, environmental/social/governance posture, value creation, efficiency, and improved user experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides the vision and directs the development of the annual Supply Chain business plan and target setting, incorporating long-term strategies, needs, and opportunities analysis. Informs senior leadership of emerging trends in ESG and external factors that will impact strategic roadmaps. Hires, manages, and develops staff to create a high performing workforce to meet Xcel Energy's present and future needs.
• Oversees implementation of complex projects and programs using PMO governance structures and integrates transformational initiatives into long-term structure. Ensures integrity of processes and data. Directs effective execution of supplier lifecycle management processes.
• Directs process and technology continuous improvement while ensuring business integration up and downstream. Directs the scouting of innovation through technology, suppliers, etc. Partners with IT.
• Oversees development of improved data visualization and insights to inform strategy formation and improved decision-making.
• Ensures compliance or audit mitigations are integrated into processes and technology.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical/analytical field.
• MBA desired.
• Ten or more years management experience within Supply Chain, including organizational design, strategy and integration across multiple business functions.
• Requires knowledge of process governance and compliance as well as change management.
• Must also have knowledge of technology platforms and how to integrate up and downstream business processes.
• Requires big picture strategic thinking, with capability to translate strategies aligned with enterprise direction into actionable plans for Supply Chain.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, communication and presentation skills are necessary.
• Strong business acumen and keen knowledge of markets and external forces.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $132,000 to $187,333 per year
