Position Summary

Sustainment Framework Position. Accountable for defining solution strategy and design principles, and ensuring the alignment between the business needs and technical solutions. Leads the strategic integration and alignment of processes, data, and systems that impact one or more business areas across the enterprise. Manages team of integration consultants in developing integrated business solutions for process and system deployments and upgrades. Ensures all changes align with business area operating models. Owns business area demand management and prioritization process. Primary business liaison to the Enterprise Integration team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Business Integration: Serves as business area owner for all functions managed and governed by the business integration team. Drives effective communication at business and enterprise levels about improvement opportunities/enhancements that affect multiple business areas and/or organizational entities.
  • Demand Management & Prioritization: Owns the demand management/prioritization process for business area. Represents business area in prioritization decisions at the enterprise level, and communicates outcomes. Serves as primary liaison in developing business area-specific IT solutions.
  • Talent Management: Recruits, leads, develops, trains, and engages team of high performing integration consultants. Participates in workforce and talent planning with other IC organizations. Demonstrates collaborative leadership in a matrixed organization.
  • Value Realization: Accountable for producing process effectiveness, efficiency, and adherence metrics across one or more business units. Analyzes key metrics, identifies/communicates performance gaps and approves remedial action plans. Ensures realization of benefits aligned with improvement projects and initiatives affecting the business area.
  • Program Management: Manages the design, development, and deployment of integrated process, data, reporting, and technology solutions within one or more business areas. Effectively tracks initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, managing and monitoring scope and ensuring communication with affected stakeholders.
  • Role & Process Governance: Enforces established change controls for enterprise process design documentation, role assignments, performance measures, reports, and training materials. Communicates identified issues to the Enterprise Integration team. Ensures that material updates align with enterprise-approved changes. Applies current knowledge of functional, technical and industry trends.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years of experience in addition to the required 10 years may supplement the degree); 6 SIGMA or other related certification preferred.
  • 10 or more years related business area/industry experience (Gas/Electric Utility preferred) or SAP/equivalent ERP use and implementation experience. Previous experience leading SAP (ECC) configuration & implementation, including expertise in at least two functional areas: MM, PM, FI &/or Order to Pay may be considered in lieu of up to 24 months of the experience requirement.
  • At least 5 years of project and/or management experience.
  • Strong change management and leadership skills.
  • Deep knowledge of leading business area technology and process solutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences; analyze and translate complex business scenarios and language.
  • Experience in configuring, administering, deploying, upgrading, and supporting systems and integrating new technical and process solutions into existing systems.
  • Proven success gaining cross-functional consensus on large strategic and portfolio management initiatives.
  • Preferred: direct experience in developing functional specs for SAP configuration.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $100,000 to $142,000 per year
