Audit Advisor

Participate in the planning, performance, and reporting on a rotating schedule of both assurance and advisory projects delivering against the department's Audit Charter, ensuring audit work conforms to the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. In addition, play an important role on multiple projects and assignments focused on improving performance and capabilities within the team. Interact with ManpowerGroup country, regional, and corporate management throughout the world utilizing strong written and oral professional communication skills. Travel internationally approximately 25 - 30% of the time throughout the year is required. Staff located outside of Milwaukee will be required to spend three or four weeks per year at the Milwaukee headquarters for various team meetings and training, in addition to other audit-related travel.

??? Participate in internal audits and advisory projects, following standard programs and methodologies, to identify control concerns, opportunities for improvement and best practices

??? Provide insight into multiple topics, including but not limited to:

o Accuracy and completeness of financial and operational information

o Compliance of accounting records with US GAAP, company policies and procedures, code of conduct, and applicable local laws and regulations

o Effectiveness of internal controls

o Accomplishment of objectives and goals established for the specific projects

o Measures taken to safeguard assets, including tests of existence and ownership as appropriate

o Economy, effectiveness, and efficiency in the use of resources

??? Diligently document, communicate, and coordinate findings within the audit team, working closely with the AAS team leaders and managers

??? Exercise discretion in the review of records to ensure compliance with data privacy standards and confidentiality of all matters that come to the engagement team's attention

??? Other special projects as mutually agreed with AAS managers or with the VP AAS

??? Minimum of 1 - 3 years of relevant previous work experience in Accounting, Audit and/or the Finance field

??? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required, with evidence of strong and distinguished academic performance preferred

??? CPA, CIA, or equivalent professional certification, either complete or in process, strongly preferred

??? Experience working in global teams or projects is desirable but not required

??? Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

??? Strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills

??? Ability to travel an estimated 25-30% to international and domestic locations

??? Fluency in English required. Language skills in French, German, or Italian are preferred, but not required
