Position Information

The Operations Manager will serve as the first point of contact with the NDSU American Indian Public Health Resource Center (AIPHRC) and manage the day-to-day operations of the Center. The Operations Manager will work closely with the AIPHRC team lead, AIPHRC project managers, NDSU stakeholders, external stakeholders, and project sponsors to ensure that AIPHRC projects are completed in a satisfactory and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing project budgets, timelines, and reporting requirements
  • Assisting with grant proposal development and submission
  • Grants management (pre-award to post-award)
  • Supervision of graduate assistants
  • Meeting and event coordination
  • Maintaining internal/external communications
  • Managing social media presence

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in business, accounting, project coordination or related field
  • Ability to work with staff and stakeholders to assure that project deliverables are completed within designated time frames
  • Experience in project management and budget development
  • Evidence of effective and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy, follow-through and adherence to deadlines
  • Experience with use of desktop programs, including Microsoft Office Suite for word processing, spreadsheets, database management and emailing

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MPH from CEPH-accredited program
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience
  • Two or more years of grant and/or project management experience
  • Experience working in tribal communities
  • Experience navigating NDSU or other higher education organization
  • Experience with grant proposal development
  • Professional social media experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Collegial and professional in conducting responsibilities with colleagues

Advertised Salary: $53,000 +
