The Payment Card Operations Manager leads a team across multiple payment card product lines to manage day to day operations and ensure business goals are met. The manager role must think tactfully to facilitate card production, implementation, projects, plan next steps and make the decision on the best execution path to completion. The candidate must be able to lead a team effectively, manage the team's workload and help the team and the wider organization achieve their goals.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead team to effectively manage their job functions and ticket queues related to card operations and ongoing process improvement
  • Lead team development and ongoing training
  • Participate in cross-functional task forces and special projects as assigned
  • Collaboration with vendors and across the organization

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex payment card programs
  • 1+ years working with and/or managing card vendor
  • 2+ years direct people management experience
  • 2+ years benefit administrative experience
  • 2+ years management experience
  • Project management and execution experience
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency with SQL
Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
