Title: Sr. Electrical Project Engineer

Summary: This privately owned organization has been creating automated systems for many of the world's leading companies. These systems are used on a national level within many industries. As a testament to the strong commitment to their employees, in the past 16 years this client has never seen an Engineer leave the organization except for retirement. This client has received the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel distinction as one of the top places to work 6 years in a row. The person filling this role will be in a highly visible role reporting directly to the President. This specific opportunity will afford the right person a role where they can be part of both the PLC programming, electrical project management and the development of the existing electrical engineering department.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible from cradle to grave electrical project management, average project lasting 3 months.
• Lead a department of 4 other Electrical Engineers
• Use AutoCAD-electrical or Solidworks-electrical for machine design.
• Work collaboratively with others to interpret and summarize electrical codes
• Manipulation of existing programming and adjust for various applications
• PLC & HMI programming
• Hardware layout
• Reading and understanding electrical schematics along with understanding electrical control panel assembly

Requirements

• BSEE or BSCS degree
• 10+ years of experience
• Ability to travel up to 5%
• PLC experience with RS, Siemens

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 per year
