Chief Financial Officer

Description

Our reputable client is seeking a CFO to join the company in Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal CFO will have excellent analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills, including an ability to work well with the CEO, board members and other senior executives. Candidates with a combination of industry and public accounting knowledge are preferred. This is the perfect role for an experience CFO looking for a challenging role at an established company.

What you get to do every day:

- Determine if cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations

- Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions

- Maintain the integrity of a company's financial information and suggest improvements

- Oversee independent auditor relationships

- Verify that staff comply with state and federal laws and company's policies

- Manage hiring and training for accounting and finance staff

- Supervise all personnel in the finance department

- Provide the finance and accounting functions with strategic management

- Take care of financial systems implementations and upgrades

- Identify and control business risks and insurance requirements

- Manage internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures

- Own vendor relationships

Requirements

Prerequisite Qualifications:

- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

- 10+ years' experience in accounting or finance

- MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- 5+ years' management experience

- Understanding GAAP and firm accounting policies and procedure

- Strong leadership and organizational skills
