Quality Control Inspector

**Kelly Services** has an immediate opening for a **Quality Control Inspector** in _Germantown, WI_ !

**Wage** : $21-$24/hr

**Schedule** : M-Th 3pm - 1am

**Contract** : Temp-to-hire!

_The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for the direct examination of product to insure that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with customer specifications. Requiring a high level of attention to detail, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for strictly adhering to the organization's quality assurance policies, and identifying defects and or production errors in order to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain. Other duties may be assigned as necessary._

**_J_** **ob Duties:**

+ Inspection of in process production materials.

+ Remove defective product from production, designating reason for removal.

+ Report defects to the appropriate manager.

+ Perform final inspection before product is shipped or inventoried.

+ Assist with the maintenance of QA monitoring programs, including process audits.

+ Support new product development and continuous improvement by integrating quality tools into processes.

+ Comply with Company QA programs for monitoring supplier quality.

+ Create and maintain QA control documentation.

+ Assist in the Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).

+ Perform Corrective Actions as assigned.

+ Adopt and incorporate quality methods into their work.

+ Ability to work independently. ??? Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.

+ Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.

+ Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures

**Qualifications:**

+ 1 -3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Knowledgeable in the use of measuring tools such as but not limited to: tape measures, micrometers, calipers, height gage, bore gages, and optical comparators.

+ A background with CMMs, vision systems, Microsoft excel, print layout experience, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) and an understanding of ISO 9001 is desired.
