Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Healthcare Architect/Project Manager to their Milwaukee team!
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Principal to evaluate project requirements and help negotiate acceptable owner-architect agreement (including fee/time schedule)- Complete projects on schedule and within budget
- Exceed client expectations
- Use healthcare terminology to maximize performance when designing healthcare projects
- Understand/manage design with regards to infection control maintenance, building systems, security, technology and medical equipment specific to a healthcare setting
- Monitor quality of construction documents
- Develop discipline cost and work-hour budgets
- Monitor project costs and completion status against budget schedules/timelines
- Coordinate review/evaluation of contractor bids
- Provide daily leadership in absence or as delegated by the Principal
- Assist with marketing (developing proposals/client interviews)
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture- Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of healthcare experience
- Architectural registration required
- Thorough understanding of healthcare industry including areas of clinical innovation, operational improvement, planning and strategic positioning for complex hospital systems
- Experience with Lean and Evidence-based design preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup and Revit
- Proficient in Project Manager software and Microsoft Office Suite
