CONTRACT POSITION

West Central Initiative (WCI) is seeking a High School to College Early Childhood Workforce Recruiter. The recruiter will work with WCI’s early childhood and communications staff to develop marketing materials to promote the early childhood career lattice. The recruiter will meet with local colleges to understand their early childhood programs and learn about capacity and flexibility to refocus curriculum into a Child Development Associate (CDA) format. The recruiter will meet with high school staff to introduce this program and provide guidance for implementation. The recruiter also will attend career fairs and present the concept of early childhood careers to high school students. 

Compensation: Contracted $40,000 over two years 

Estimated time commitment: Approximately 15-20 hours per week
