This full-time, permanent Electrical Electronics Equipment Test Technician career opportunity is at a custom OEM mobile electronics manufacturing company. This particular position will work primarily in the test department. The position has an engineering support function. This position in particular could have a lot of growth opportunity including into an engineering role, if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will encompass the following:
* Taking part in the manufacturing test process
* Understanding test plans
* Understanding electronic drawings and schematics
* Utilizing complex test equipment
* Ensuring industry standard compliance
* Aiding in reworking, repairing or modifying new products
* Providing technical issue related guidance to manufacturing employees
* Utilizing schematics and test instructions to make test harnesses and setups
* Utilizing mechanical skills and hand tools to assemble and disassemble components
Candidates should have a minimum background consisting of the following:
* A two year electronics engineering or electrical engineering degree
* One or more years of soldering experience
* One or more years of automated test experience
* Possess mechanical skills
* Possess ability to utilize hand tools
* A solid work history
* A US citizen or possess a green card
* A residence within 45 minutes
