  • The Regulatory Communications Specialist partners with Regulatory leaders and functional communicators to deliver content strategy, digital planning, and message development and execution for key internal and external audiences.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Handle the creation and implementation of multiple forms of strategic communication activities, programs and content to help drive Regulatory Affairs priorities
  • Develop impactful presentations through narrative and visuals, including leader talking points, for key stakeholder audiences, both internal and external
  • Write, edit, and publish internal stories, leader messages, videos, and other content in accordance with our content strategy
  • Manage timelines, coordinate content input, and ensure narrative coherence for key stakeholder presentations
MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing communications, or communications experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of communications experience
  • Excellent verbal, writing, editing and organizational skills
  • Effective collaboration with colleagues, teammates as directed; possess sense of teamwork. Superb people skills - must be comfortable working with colleagues both in person and remotely, across time zones and geographic regions
NICE TO HAVE
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Regulatory Affairs or FDA experience preferred
  • Experience working with senior leaders
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Experience with or working knowledge of programs and applications such as Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, video development, and various desktop publishing
  • High-level of skills in PowerPoint presentation creation and editing
Full responsibilities - for internal reference:
  • Execute strategic communications plan including:
  • Monthly Regulatory Policy Brief
  • Advocacy Hub updates and news stories
  • Organizational narrative supporting materials and socialization
  • Manage editorial calendar and develop content
  • Manage and grow online presence through internal communications tools like SharePoint and Yammer
  • Develop compiling presentations and communications for key stakeholder audiences (i.e. regulatory agencies (Qtrly Mtg), Executive Committee, etc.)
  • Create of videos/webinars regarding key and important newly published requirements, key emerging topics and strategic approach, standards work)
  • Guide implementation of communication strategy and team narrative
  • Consult on, review and execute key presentations, communications, and announcements including:
  • Advocacy Playbook
  • Leader briefings
  • FDA University
