Position Description

The Manager, Information Security Operations works with Security leadership to set direction and procedures for enterprise-wide management Information Security Risk, measure outcomes and direct the applicable management action. Manage the baseline minimum standard for Information Security controls, aligning them to industry standards and legal and regulatory requirements and the trends and assets by which Information Security accountability and controls are instantiated across the organization. Manage the risks associated with exceptions to Information Security policy and standards. The ideal candidate will be near our Minnetonka, MN or Omaha, NE offices.


Responsibilities:


  • With Information Security leadership, identify and prioritize enterprise level Information Security threats and risks.
  • Manage the baseline minimum standard for Information Security controls, aligning them to industry standards and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and enforce Information Security policies and non-technical standards.
  • Manage the risks associated with exceptions to Information Security policy and standards.
  • Manage trends and assets by which Information Security accountability and controls are instantiated across the organization.
  • Maintain effective interfaces between the enterprise Information Security function and business function/regional accountable groups.
  • Manage metrics program to give quantitative insight into security posture.
  • Review the overall effectiveness of the enterprise/global Information Security Management System and identify and track improvement opportunities.
  • Manage the certification of baseline standards for relevant sections in the organization.
  • Manage strategic projects to improve governance and risk management capability.
  • Plan and manage complex deployment of security related activities.
  • Leads and develops a small team dedicated to Security Operations. Communicates performance expectations and provides employees with on-going feedback to achieve performance objectives and development goals. Creates an engaging work environment.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience
  • 8 or more years of experience
  • 3 or more years Information Security operations experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in an information security SOC leadership role
  • Specific industry certification is preferred (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA)
  • Experience with SIEM tool usage (specifically SPLNK ES preferred)
  • Hospitality or related travel and entertainment industry experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of information systems design and management
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO, NIST, SOC
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Up to 20% travel possible
