Job Summary
Are you attending school for Accounting, Finance, Business or related? Join the Fargo, ND office as an Auditor Intern this January! The Auditor Intern works jointly with Internal Audit team members in planning and performing assigned audit projects within Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND). This position may assist with performing compliance, operational, financial and basic information systems audits to ensure internal controls are operating efficiently and confirm operations comply with federal, state and contractual requirements.
This opportunity is a paid part-time internship (10-20 hours/week) starting in the beginning of January of 2022 and has a flexible end date towards the end of the Spring semester, depending on schedules. We will work with a student's schedule regarding weekly hours worked.

Field(s) of Study: Currently completing post-secondary studies in Finance, Accounting, Business or related with a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required; preferably has completed 2 years at the college/university level.
Experience Requirements
Required: N/A
Preferred: Minimum of 6 months
Experience Details: No minimum experience is required; intern must have computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) and must be able to use computer for research activities.

Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards

- Job responsibilities are outlined in an individual work plan for each intern position; however, assignments will generally include the following types of job duties:
- Participate in meetings with process owners throughout the audit process to perform walkthroughs and information gathering.
- Perform audit procedures/testing.
- Assist in risk assessments.
- Provides support and input for special projects, as requested. Analyzes and retrieves data appropriate for requested projects.
