Level 3 Maintenance MFG Technician
3rd Shift - 11 pm to 7 am Monday to Friday with OT on Saturdays up to 50% of the time.
Position Expectations
Must meet all expectations and be able to perform all responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have advanced working knowledge of equipment found in an industrial manufacturing setting. Advanced troubleshooting and repair capabilities of AC/DC electrical circuits, up to 480V, is required. Those capabilities include, but are not limited to motors, drives, tuning, configuration, and calibration, circuit boards, PLCs, wiring, electrical hardware such as contactors and circuit breakers, etc... A strong aptitude in pneumatic/hydraulic systems such as: cylinders, control valves, and modular manifolds are also required. Candidates must also have an advanced working knowledge of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and make repairs at a high level. Experience in operating shop equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, etc??? and the ability, or aptitude, to fabricate and weld. Candidates should be well rounded and have a deep understanding of the electro-mechanical relationship in modern industrial automation and robotics.
Principle Responsibilities
Provide advanced troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints. Make timely and accurate repairs. Drive improved equipment efficiencies through effective root cause analysis. Use various hand tools and electrical testing equipment. Perform routine tasks such as preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment. Train peers and co-workers on equipment function, repair, and inspection. Assist operators with machine setup requirements. Make minor building repairs. Support the needs of the business and general work requirements as assigned. Develop skills to advance into a higher-level position. Follow all safety procedures and work in a fast-paced team environment.
