YOUR ROLE

  • Conduct inspections, reporting and recordkeeping for environmental and safety compliance programs
  • Deliver EHS related training activities within facility
    Lead safety committees
  • Implement and support strategic EHS initiatives
  • Regulatory storm water compliance monitoring and reporting
  • Conduct and document facility inspections of hazardous waste accumulation/chemical storage areas.
  • Prepare reports of findings with recommendations for corrective action
  • Perform or review Job Safety Analysis of facility worksite activities
  • Perform ergonomic, PPE and safety risk assessments
  • Investigate incidents to determine root causes and prepare action plans
  • Assist in internal and external EHS audits
  • Other duties as assigned


YOUR SKILLS

  • Demonstrated understanding of EHS regulatory standards
  • Proven knowledge of safety equipment and standards
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across multiple functions within the organization
  • Familiarity with ergonomic analysis tools
  • Proven track record of managing shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an EHS role

Preferred Qualifications :
  • Degree in occupational safety, engineering, or equivalent field
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience implanting safety programs and initiatives
  • Working knowledge of air, waste, and water regulatory compliance standards
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001
  • ASP, CSP or other EHS related certification
