YOUR ROLE

• The role of the Associate Brand Manager within our Hair Creation Team is to impact decisions and support development and execution of our future hair innovations
• The Associate will assist the Senior Brand Manager with major new product development initiatives, including identifying consumer insights, partnering with R&D, coordinating market research, developing design & artworks as well as developing sales materials
• Lead small, medium, and large scale projects such as new item product, packaging and claims innovations and drive projects forward to completion working closely and in coordination with Cross Functional Teams (Sales, Supply Chain, R&D/Regulatory, Packaging, Legal) as well as our design agencies to ensure that overall project goals, timelines and objectives are met
• Deliver consumer/category input within innovation process to identify white space opportunities and help refine plan elements based on consumer, category and Retail Environment knowledge
• Support the creation of P&L in coordination with Sales, Controlling & NPI to prepare strong business cases to be presented to our Top Management
• Support all facets of the innovation launch process including sales material, selling story positioning, new item sales distribution samples, customer selling presentations, internal Commercial meetings & ad-hoc Top Management presentations
• Responsible for our Hair Creation marketing budget

YOUR SKILLS

• Bachelor's Degree in related field, MBA highly preferred, with 2-3 years of relevant branding/marketing experience in FMCG. Experience in Beauty and/or NPD is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership ability, strong team orientation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with people in diverse functional areas
• Ability to balance multiple objectives and prioritize accordingly
• Solid analytical skills, written and oral communication skills
• Has a eye for beauty & details. Strong consumer affinity and aware of trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive & solution-driven attitude

The salary range for this role is $84,000 to $115,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
