Our client is currently looking for an energized and talented Manufacturing Engineer to help push their organization forward by helping in the following areas:

  • Work with product development teams to ensure Design for Manufacturing is applied to new products and product changes
  • Collaborate with cross functional program teams on product issues, aware of the status of customer and design driven product changes and ensuring ECOs are processed per company procedures
  • Participate and or lead the planning of capital equipment associated with the manufacturing process
  • Ensure process routers and standard work instructions are current and in use in the production stations
  • Responsible for planning and implementation of line layout and product flow for the cells
  • Develop preventive maintenance steps and communicate requirements to Maintenance team. Ensure appropriate spare parts are listed in the systems
  • Respond to production issues (safety, quality, machine down) with high urgency to contain problems and perform root cause problem solving for continuous improvement
  • Key member of the Value Stream performance team and is accountable for safe processes, OEE, first time quality performance, line availability, mean time between failure (MTBF), and downtime performance - among others
  • Develop current and future state Value Stream Maps and executing a project plan to move to future state
  • Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives generating financial cost savings for the plant

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Previous experience in automotive electronics, plastics, and electronic assembly preferred
  • United States DOJ requires candidates must be US citizen!
