A Core Tech Low Voltage Technician installs, troubleshoots, tests and repairs low voltage systems, networking issues and installs systems such as security systems, surveillance equipment and audiovisual or multimedia equipment.
Essential Job Duties:
Security system installation experience preferred.
Install, troubleshoot, test and repair of low voltage systems
Experience working with digital multi-meters, and testing cable
Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels.
Ability to read and understand schematic and line diagrams.
Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational.
Troubleshoot new system installations to ensure proper functioning and to ensure system meets local, county, state or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.
Ability to complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that systems are complete and satisfy customer and contractual requirements
Personal Attributes
Must be able to quickly switch gears and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Punctual and responsible
Requirements:
Must have verifiable experience.
Must have your own tools and/or be part of our tool purchasing program
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass any pre-employments screenings
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at waist height for short distances.
Walk and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Push/pull up to 100 lbs. at shoulder height.
Bend at the waist, kneel, crawl, crouch and stoop.
Climb ladders and work from heights.

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
