Summary:

AFICS (American Family Insurance Claims Services) is hiring for our Claims Rotation Program!

The Claim's Rotation Development Program is an 18-24-month program providing recent graduates training and an in-depth view of the insurance claims industry. CRDPs will be placed in specific line of business: auto, property or specialty where they will have the chance to contribute value while building their business acumen and developing leadership skills.

The rotational program offers a robust training curriculum where CRDPs will apply their learnings in their line of business. As a result, they will be able to enhance their skills in negotiating strategic thinking, problem solving and much more. In addition, the CRDP will gain valuable experience, including but not limited to claims adjusting, strategy, and operations.

As a team member, you will support AFICS' goal of ensuring customer service industry leadership, partnering with an agency to deliver seamless claim service by processing complex or highly complex claims on a routine basis.

After successfully completing the program, CRDPs will be equipped with the skills to succeed in a Claims Adjuster role.

As the CRDPs enter the program, each participant is assigned a mentor, in addition to their supervisor. The mentors are experienced professionals who have demonstrated success in their careers. These mentors will support the CRDPs for the duration of the program.

Qualifications:

* Received an Associate, Bachelor or equivalent degree in December 2021 or Spring 2022
* Exhibited leadership through campus activities and/or community outreach
* Has had at least one internship or work experience in related field
* Demonstrates American Family Insurance Claims Services values: Accountable, Caring, Courageous, Inclusive, Innovative and Trustworthy
* Preferred: Excellent academic record, 3.0+ GPA
* Eligible to work in the U.S on a permanent basis

Education & Licenses:

* Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record
* Obtain state specific property casualty licensing as required

Travel Requirements

* This position requires travel up to 10% of the time.
* Must be willing to travel for Catastrophe duty if necessary

Physical Demands

* This position requires the ability to climb or balance between 1 and 33% of the time (applies to field position only).
* This position requires the ability to work with distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more) for extended periods of time (applies to field position only).
* This position requires the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl between 1 and 33% of the time (applies to field position only).
* This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds between 1 and 33% of the time.

Primary Accountabilities

* Participates with the business in the creation/completion of project charters. Gain understanding of the business problem and helps define the problem
* Manage key projects by establishing criteria, key stakeholders, defines roles and responsibilities and drives project unto completion.
* Meet and effectively communicate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, process owners and users for key deliverables on projects and other assignments in each rotation.
* Resolves problems as needed to ensure that customers receive prompt and efficient service.
* Interpret data and analyze results
* Identifies the problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions
* Support new ideas, systems and procedures and create ideas and actions in response to changing environment.
* Collaborate on the evaluation of programs and participate in the development of recommendations.

Education and Licenses

* Must have obtained degree within the past 6 months

Travel Requirements

* This position requires travel up to 5% of the time.
