On Site Graphic Designer

We are looking for a team player, that has a strong eye for great design and is able to help build our brand with excellent marketing and graphic design literature. We specialize in vacuum sealed tumblers and rotomolded coolers and have several new products related to the outdoors that we plan on adding to our current product lineEssential Functions
??? Work on-site in North Sioux City, SD

??? Maintaining a clean and efficient work space

??? Managing a work-load that fluctuates on a daily basis, and possessing the ability to effectively assess and managing a prioritization structure that does not permit missing deadlines

??? Creating custom artwork that does not infringe on existing copyrights

??? Re-creating customer-submitted artwork to their specifications (within reason) independently

??? Managing and updating our customer design files database

??? Interpreting notes and revisions from sales representatives & customers to efficiently complete requests within deadlines

??? Creating advertisement images/gifs for marketing materials and customers

??? Availability to attend and contribute to sales calls/inquiries/meetings

??? Maintaining a flexible work schedule

??? Contributing to departmental branding/marketing materials

??? Fundamental understanding of corporate branding and the process involved

??? Knowledge of HTML, CSS for maintenance and editing of online web stores a plus

??? Approving sample proofs before full production runs

Competencies

??? Fluent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign

??? Experience creating advertisements for custom printing and web distribution

??? Experience working with a project management software

??? Strong time-management skills with an emphasis in working with and meeting short deadlines while maintaining workload

??? Fundamental knowledge in RGB and CMYK color profiles for online and print use

??? Ability to create custom works that will not infringe on existing copyrights

??? Keen eye for typographical design

??? Knowledge of Pantone color books and how to utilize them for print

??? Basic customer service skills (as the individual will be working with customers, sales representatives, and other departments)
??? Able to adopt to frequent interruptions without impacting quality of work

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

??? This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work.

Required Education and Experience

??? Post-secondary degree in design-related field or 5 years working experience

Compensation: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour
