Description

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for providing MarCom support across the Respiratory Health portfolio. Serving as a liaison between up and downstream marketing to develop communication materials that support product launches and promotional efforts. Also responsible for managing the development of tradeshow messaging, communications, and deliverables.

Location may be Hybrid (Remote & Onsite) within a reasonable commute of St. Paul office.

THE ROLE:
  • Works under general supervision as contact between Marketing Communication and its internal clients (Marketing partners) on assigned projects from concept to completion. Represents the Marketing Communication function by managing all tactical components of the project according to schedule and budget.
  • Maintains project schedules, records and appropriate documentation per process requirements.
  • Keeps stakeholders informed of milestones and action items. Communicates project needs and ensures continuous progress. Manages client expectations for quality, budget, delivery and return on investment.
  • Under the direction of MarCom Manager, works with agency partners and oversees execution of annual and launch campaigns and tactics according to schedule and budget and same duties as above.
  • Verifies accuracy of revisions as a result of ad/promo review and does final proofreading.
  • Determines appropriate allocation of work to internal and external resources.
  • Works to ensure that brand standards are adhered to and executed properly in all deliverables.
  • Guarantees the finished quality of deliverables.
  • Works with outside services, vendors and agencies: participates in cross-functional teams as required.


Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred or similar work experience
  • Ability to effectively work independently
  • Self-motivated with exceptional follow through, ability to meet deadlines and self-manage projects
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical thinker comfortable working with multiple information systems (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Quick study, particularly with respect to technology and marketing concepts
  • Highly adaptable and able to sell the organization on change
  • Team player who will work well in cross functional work groups
  • Effective organization / planning skills
  • Passionate: extremely high energy and fast paced
  • Resourcefulness - impressive ability to find ways over, under, and through barriers
  • Ability to deliver focused projects
  • Sensitive and adaptive to both stated and unstated customer needs
