Environmental Service & Laundry Aide - FT

Lakewood Health System has an opening for a Full-time Environmental Service/Laundry Aide!

This is a Full-time position working 64-80 hours per pay period, between the hours of 6:00AM - 2:30PM. Must be able to work every third weekend and some holidays.

The Environmental Service Aide is responsible for high quality housekeeping and laundry services at our Main and Senior Campus locations.

Duties include:

Environmental Services Aides are responsible for dusting, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping floors, wall cleaning, emptying trash, running a floor scrubber and other housekeeping equipment.

Ability to operate all laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers, iron, stamper, sewing machine and record weights). Sorts laundry and linen according to colors and fabric. Loads and unload washers and help fold linen. Maintains cleanliness of laundry sorting bins, washing machines and floors in the sorting area.
Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  
• Valid Driver's License
  
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
  
• Must be a Team Player
  
• Attention to Detail
  
• Ability to lift and move moderate weight up to 35 lbs. on a daily basis
